SOLA stands for Simple Open Learning Advancement and aims to meet the emerging requirements of the tourism industry in the European Community with ICT-based didactical methods, knowledge based contents and courses. Currently, in the field of tourism there are not many offers in the market -apart from those held in English language - regarding online and blended-learning courses for the main topics as selected and defined in the project SOLA (Sustainable Tourism Basics, Rural Sustainable Tourism, Customer Relationship Management in Sustainable Tourism).
Within the project, sponsored by ERASMUS+ (KA2 strategic partnership - Cooperation and Innovation for Good Practices), a training program (open online and blended learning courses) for above mentioned topics will be developed. Additionally, trainers will get qualified to produce e-learning contents without a skilled team of authors, to adapt existing open contents in order to meet specific regional requirements and to work with it. Working with ICT based methods and matching didactical methods should be promoted and expanded.
